All our Falconry Experiences are hands on activities suitable for everyone capable of a two hour gentle walk, including stiles. Persons under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Our Falconry Experiences are based at Nannerth, a traditional working hill farm set in stunning countryside in the Heart of Wales, this spectacular scenery combined with the beauty of our Hawks and Falcons will give you an unforgettable day.
Non-participants cannot be accommodated at Nannerth Farm, persons dropping off or picking up participants are welcome to come and meet the birds but cannot be left unsupervised in the yard as Nannerth is a working farm.
If this causes you particular problems please contact us and we will try to make suitable arrangements.
Hawk Experience - approx 2 hours.
Learn to fly our Harris Hawk then take a gentle walk with him over the hillside and farmland surrounding Nannerth Farm, during this time you will be free flying the Hawk yourselves.

Birds of Prey Experience - 4 - 5 hours.
Learn about the Ancient Art of Falconry. Meet and handle our Barn Owl. Observe the flight of trained falcons flying from the stunning hillside above Nannerth Farm. Learn to handle and fly Hawks then take a gentle walk flying our Harris Hawk through beautiful countryside with the opportunity to sight wild birds of prey.
Refreshments included £ 50.00 per person.

An insight into flying, training and keeping birds of prey. Handling and flying Hawks, basic training of a Falcon, observing the flight of a fully trained Falcon, basic husbandry, flying and training Hawks, concluding with feeding and preparing the Hawks for the night.
£ 90.00 per person.
Minimum booking of 2 persons
Non paying visitors are welcome to accompany paying clients to the Farmyard, where tea, coffee and toilet facilities are available. They may view and photograph the birds in the Hawkroom, however, if they wish to participate on the experience, a full charge will be required.
Nannerth Farm is not open to the general public, booking is essential. You may be part of a small group, whenever possible families will be placed separetely to adult groups.
