Hawksdrift Falconry Experiences

All our falconry experiences are hands-on activities suitable for everyone capable of a two hour gentle walk, including stiles.

Persons under 16yrs must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Our Falconry Experiences are based at Nannerth a traditional working hill farm set in stunning countryside in the Heart of Wales, this spectacular scenery combined with the beauty of our hawks and falcons will give you an unforgettable day.

Hawk Experience - approx 2 hrs

Learn to fly our Harris hawk then take a gentle walk with him over hillside and farmland surrounding Nannerth farm, during this time you will be free flying the hawk yourselves.

Birds of Prey Experience 4 – 5 hrs

Learn about the Ancient Art of Falconry. Meet and handle our Barn Owl. Observe the flight of trained falcons flying from stunning hillside above Nannerth Farm. Learn to handle and fly hawks then take a gentle walk flying our Harris hawk through beautiful countryside with the opportunity to sight wild birds of prey. Refreshments included.

Falconry Day

An insight into flying, training & keeping birds of prey. Handling and flying hawks, basic training of a falcon, observing the flight of a fully trained falcon, basic husbandry, flying & training hawks, concluding with feeding and preparing the hawks for the night. Refreshments included.

Minimum booking of two persons
£90.00 per person

Nannerth Farm is not open to the general public, booking is essential. You may be part of a small group, whenever possible families will be placed separately to adult groups. Directions at www.nannerth.co.uk

Please wear outdoor clothing and waterproof footwear suitable for walking.
Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs or other pets
